ideal for weekend strolls with easy access to parks and attractions
We found our room huge and beautiful, providing a wonderful base for our explorations to the delightful Pwllycrochan Woods Local Nature Reserve just 500 meters away and the scenic Cayley Promenade less than a 10-minute walk from the hotel, which made our stay even more enjoyable.

It was just a good match for a short weekend trip in Colwyn Bay with outstanding value for money. The lovely lady and her husband were really good at their job taking time to chat with us. Recommend checking in later in the afternoon to avoid early arrival issues.

definitely coming here again
Had a great stay in the double room with private bathroom. Bed was super comfy, and the shower had great water pressure. The room was clean and had a flat-screen TV, electric kettle, and free toiletries. Breakfast was a highlight, with lovely quality bacon. The hospitality was warm, and the area was nice and quiet, super close to the beach.

The breakfast was delicious and generous, catered perfectly to my dietary needs. The owners' warm hospitality made us feel welcome, enhancing our brief family trip.

missingWrote a review on Aug 28soft bed
The bed felt a bit too soft for my liking, which made it hard to get a good night's sleep. The full English breakfast didn't include some expected items like eggs or mushrooms. The kettle in the room needed replacing and a couple of utensils were missing, making me feel it could use a bit more attention to detail. the window was quite stiff, which made it a hassle to open for some fresh air.

The decor may be dated, but the cleanliness and warmth of the West Point Hotel Bed And Breakfast truly stood out, making my stay feel welcoming and comfortable. Accessibility was excellent, making it easy for seniors like myself.
Better heating options in rooms could improve comfort.

Recommend it for families seeking comfort
The beds were incredibly comfy, I slept like a baby and my son couldn't stop raving about the bacon at breakfast, said it was the best ever! And the lady running the place was so welcoming, she even helped us with directions for our adventures.
It wasn't exactly cheap, but honestly it felt worth it for the experience we got.

Friendly vibes, cozy stay
Had a nice, chill stay for one night! Jan was super friendly and made us feel welcome. The room was clean and spacious, and breakfast was solid with good coffee. Just wish the bathroom had some heating. it was a bit chilly. But honestly, it was a fine spot for a quick getaway.

just a couple of minor issues tho, the kettle needed a new element and the window was a bit stiff to open. also, no bar at the hotel but there was a lidl nearby for drinks.
